Short Bio on Carlos Ruiz Zafon
Carloa Ruiz Zafon is the author of the novel "The Shadow of the Wind". He is a Spanish novelist and born September 25th, 1964 in Barcelona, Spain. His first novel "The Prince of Mist" (El Principle de la Niebla) 1993 won the Edebé literacy prize.
The most successful book he has written is "The Shadow of the Wind" that has sold millions of copies worldwide and over a million in the UK alone. He has written many other Spanish novels and his work has been published in 45 countries and translated to more than 40 languages, making him the most successful Spanish writer. "The Shadow of the Wind" is not the only book based with Daniel, he intends to make it into a 4 book series and has already released another in 2011 called "El Prisionero del CIelo" which I will be interested in reading since "The Shadow of the Wind" was a really good book.
